19 Weeks

How far along: 19weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +10 pounds
Maternity clothes: I’m trying out a Bellyband today with jeans.  We shall see how I like that compared to the pant extender.
Sleep: No change from last week.
Best moment of the week: Hearing the baby’s heartbeat at a doctors appointment on Tuesday.  It’s still sounding great at 150 bpm.
Exercise: This was a busy week work-wise with meetings after work plus writing appraisals, so I only got in one run in, but we also went hiking over the weekend.
Movement: Still nothing.
Food Cravings: French fries?  I’m not sure if that’s pregnancy related though.
Gender: Less than two weeks until we find out!
Belly Button: No change.
Stretch Marks: None yet.
What I miss: Honestly, nothing this week.
What I am looking forward to: Having the Mister home for the next almost three weeks.
Milestones:  We booked a childbirth class at the end of June.
Kairo: Still no noticeable changes.  We are are scheduling some training classes while he’s at daycare to improve his loose leash walking (in preparation for walking with a stroller) and some other helpful commands.

18 Weeks

Playing a little catch up, since I wrote this over the weekend and I'll be 19 weeks on Thursday.

How far along: 18 weeks
Total weight gain: 8 pounds
Maternity clothes: Not yet.  I’m starting to wear a pant extender, but still most of my regular clothes.  Work shirts are no longer tucked in.
Sleep: Pretty good so far.  Waking up at least once during the night to pee.
Best moment of the week: Cleaning out the future baby’s room and assembling the new crib!

Exercise: After a few month hiatus, I ran once last week and twice this week.  It definitely feels good to (kind of) be back on the wagon.
Movement: Not yet. Apparently it could be any day now.
Food Cravings: Nothing out of the ordinary.
Gender: We find out on 4/8 — 2.5 more weeks!
Belly Button: No change.
Stretch Marks: No, but I started using some belly stretch oil in hopes to prevent them in the future.
What I miss: A good beer. We had a work happy hour on Monday and the beers smelled delicious.  Have no fear though, the place we went to also had $3 milkshakes and I most certainly did not turn that down.
What I am looking forward to: Greg coming home on Wednesday for more than two weeks straight.
Milestones: Turning 30? :)  2015 is proving to be a big year!
Kairo: He’s acting completely normal.  He was very curious as we were assembling the crib, though I think that was more because we were in this room in the front of the house that we never go in.

A New Addition

Those who keep up via Insta (or chatting IRL) are already in the know, but we are growing our family by one human!
Needless to say, Kairo is SYCHED!
Like my bestie Heath, I'm hoping to capture weekly updates here on the old blog, so I can look back down the road at how wonderful being pregnant was.  Ha!
