Climbing on the rocks. Kairo was able to maneuver both up and down a pretty steep ravine to get down to the water. I was impressed.
Dumbo-like ears:
Playing with other dogs. There were four other vizslas at the park, which once again reminded G$ and I that we picked the perfect breed. They are the perfect size, not too big, not too small. One we saw was about 8 months old, and looked very gangly, as G$ put it, like an awkward teenager. Long legs, not yet filled out. I thought he was a cutie-pie.
Running through the water:
Don't make me go home...
After all the playing in the water, then rolling around in the dirt, Kairo was a mess, so the first order of business when we got home was a bath. Unfortunately, since giving Kairo a bath is still a two-man job, I did not get any pictures, but he was a good boy. After the bath, was a three hour nap. Yes, you heard me right, a three hour nap! It was GREAT!!!
After he woke up, we went for a walk around the block, so Kairo could get some more exercise and I could get my caffeine fix (we conveniently walk past a 'Bucks when we do the quick loop around the block). And of course Kairo needed his fix as well:
And he is once again napping, so taking him to this dog park may become part of the normal weekend routine. :)
